VACATIONS AT NATIONAL & INTERNATIONAL RESORT DESTINATIONS!
Imagine a week's vacation on the beach
at the Eastern Shore, driving golf balls on a wooded course in West Virginia or skiing in
Pennsylvania for just $209. Thanks to a new program DoD employees don't have to imagine
it; they can have it!
It's called the ARMED FORCES VACATION CLUB (space available program) and it's for
all military ID card holders, DoD civilians, and their families. The program is operated
by Resort Condominiums International (RCI), LLC as part of their World Vacation Club.
The condos typically have two or three bedrooms, full or partial kitchen, living room,
often include laundry facilities, and normally rent for up to $1,000 a week. Amenities
range from beaches, pools, and tennis courts to ski slopes, golf, hiking paths, and spas.

There is a cancellation policy, which does not penalize employees if they have to change their vacation dates because of
deployment or other official duties.
Once booked, vacations are not transferable. The individual using the space available
voucher must check in to the resort and must be at least 21 years of age. Pets are not
permitted at any locations. Users are responsible for travel expenses, local taxes,
security deposits, telephone calls, and fees charged by the resort for amenities or
services.
Finally, space may not be available at popular destinations such as Ocean City or
Massanutten during peak beach, golf, or ski seasons. However, if employees enjoy these
destinations during "off-peak" seasons, there are goods deals to be enjoyed!
